The app

The TaxHash app runs entirely in your browser. Transaction files you import, wallet addresses you scan, API keys you enter and every report you generate are processed and stored on your device only. They are never transmitted to us, and we could not read them if we wanted to. Optional features you explicitly trigger fetch public data from third parties, public block explorers for wallet scanning, market prices for valuations, and your exchange's API for sync, routed through our relay, which forwards requests and retains nothing.

This website

The website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or fingerprinting trackers. We use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics to count page views and measure performance in aggregate. No profile of you is built and nothing identifies you personally.

If you pay the account fee

Payment is handled by Stripe on Stripe's own pages, under Stripe's privacy policy. We receive what a merchant needs, the fact of the purchase and the email your licence key is sent to. Payment records are never linked to any tax data, because we never have tax data.

If you email us or apply to the directory

We keep the correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with, and application records for as long as a listing is live or under review.

UK GDPR rights apply to the little we do hold, correspondence and purchase records. Ask and we will show, correct or delete what we have about you.
